Police constables across Sindh have been given an open offer to be transferred and join the Karachi Traffic Police on priority basis.
In this regard, messages were broadcast through voice control throughout the province, in which a procedure has also been devised.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police Traffic Ahmed Nawaz Cheema said that various departments of Sindh Police, Special Branch, Counter-Terrorism Department, Training Branch, three DIGs of the three zones of Karachi Police were deployed there through operation branches. Police constables have been offered to be transferred to traffic police.
Apart from Sindh Reserve Police, Crime Investigation Branch, police constables working in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana ranges have also been offered transfer.
In wireless messages, the sheet callers of these departments have also been asked to inform their constables.
According to police officials, police constables interested in this exchange can submit their details in the sheet branch of DIG Traffic Branch by July 25, 2022.
