The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has penned a letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the protracted issue of obtaining Indian visas for the national cricket team.

Sources reveal that the PCB’s letter not only registers its protest but also highlights its reservations and concerns. Additionally, the letter references the host members’ agreement.

The letter underscores that this issue has been raised repeatedly over the past three years, yet Pakistan’s concerns have not been adequately addressed. Presently, the Pakistani squad has not received visas for India.

The PCB expressed disappointment in its letter, emphasizing that the visa delay has created an atmosphere of uncertainty. The national team was initially scheduled to spend two days in Dubai, but due to the delay in obtaining visas, their plans are now up in the air. Despite assurances that visas would be issued within 24 hours, no progress has been made, exacerbating the growing uncertainty.

Furthermore, sources indicate that even passports for journalists have not been received. The Visa Courier Service claims that there is no clearance for World Cup visas from the Embassy yet, and the Visa Service Company has halted the issuance of official invitations to journalists, instead requesting them to provide passport copies of the officers.
