Three prominent Pakistani fashion icons, Frieha Altaf, Nabila Maqsood, and Fifi Haroon, have joined forces to establish Pakistan’s inaugural fashion museum. The museum, set to be launched in the Winter/Spring of 2023-2024, aims to showcase the country’s rich creative heritage through an exhibition and gala event.
The Pakistan Fashion Museum, a pioneering initiative in the country, will feature a comprehensive fashion collection spanning the past 75 years. The event will take place at a UNESCO World Heritage site in Pakistan, providing a culturally significant backdrop.
In an Instagram post, the trio expressed their excitement about the project and unveiled their plans for The Muse Gala and exhibition. This annual event will bring together designers and celebrity muses to create a captivating display of fashion innovation and imagination.
The announcement video highlighted the lifelong dedication of Frieha Altaf, Nabila Maqsood, and Fifi Haroon to the Pakistani fashion industry, both domestically and internationally. They described their venture as “two lifelines” for Pakistani fashion, aiming to foster creativity, innovation, and excitement within the industry.
Their vision extends beyond the local scene, as they aim to introduce Pakistani fashion to the world by establishing the first fashion museum in a Pakistani city, particularly at a UNESCO World Heritage site.
