A mob accosted Nabeel Qureshi, Hira Mani, Gul-e-Rana, and others on Monday while they were in Karachi filming a new movie.
On his social media accounts, Qureshi detailed the terrible incident and claimed that the mob had harassed the cast and crew, stolen mobile phones, and taken other items of equipment.
The director of “The Load Wedding” claimed in a series of tweets that the attackers were “equipped with weapons.” The incident happened in Karachi’s PIB Colony neighbourhood.
To make a lesson out of the incident and ensure the continued safety of Pakistan’s artistic community, Nabeel urged the authorities to take harsh action against the offenders.
