It is to be expected that gas will be available to Karachiites at mealtimes only. Minister Musaddiq Malik has said that he will try his utmost to provide citizens gas more frequently during the winter and only reduce gas pressure during night time.
He has formed a 7-member committee for the availability of gas to the industries. The committee will give its recommendations in 48 to 72 hours. After the report, the plan will be finalized according to the order of the prime minister.
The SSGC has been asked to make a plan so that gas can be provided during meal times.
