Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla announced on Tuesday that in terms of motor vehicle tax, Rs1509.112 million were collected from Karachi.
According to statistics provided by the minister, Rs64.973 million were collected from Hyderabad and Rs26.785 million from Sukkur, Rs10.436 million from Shaheed Benazirabad, Rs15.794 million from Larkana and Rs9.036 million from Mirpurkhas.
After providing the stats, Chawla requested motor vehicle tax defaulters to deposit their due taxes immediately and reminded citizens that taxes can also be deposited online.
