Met predicts drizzle and strong winds in Karachi over next three days

The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast indicating the possibility of drizzle and strong winds in Quaid City over the next three days. The statement from the department suggests that the city is expected to experience cloudy weather during this period, with temperatures ranging between 30 to 32 degrees Celsius.

According to the department, other districts in Sindh are likely to witness hot and humid conditions. Strong winds are anticipated in various areas, including Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Sajawal, Umarkot, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Ulhayar, and Jamshoro.

In the past 24 hours, the city experienced winds blowing at a speed of 40 km per hour, accompanied by partly cloudy skies. During this period, the minimum temperature recorded was 30 degrees Celsius, with an air humidity level of 74%.

Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued a significant forecast for the next six hours. It predicts that most of the plains in the country will experience hot and humid weather. A thunderstorm is anticipated in North East Punjab adjoining Kashmir, while scattered rain is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.

The weather in Islamabad is projected to be hot and humid, with rain expected at a few places. This forecast provides valuable insights for individuals and authorities to prepare for changing weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
