It has been decided to tighten security at the offices of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) following the terrorist incidents in Karachi.
According to aviation sources, security has been beefed up at PIA, CAA headquarters and all sectors in Karachi and vigilance has been stepped up.
Sources said that visitors to the airport and offices have been barred from entering unnecessarily and vigilance has been directed at the CAA and PIA offices to be ready.

Aviation sources also said that vigilance has been called for in all sectors and the Quick Response Force in CAA and PIA offices has also been required to remain alert.
In this regard, the sources said that PIA and CAA staff working in all fields have been instructed to wear mandatory ID cards and also to keep an eye on suspicious boxes or bags around CAA and PIA offices. Has been
According to sources, CCTV cameras have also been directed to be fully functional and PIA and CAA vigilance teams have been directed to patrol around the airport.
