The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Corporate Crime Circle on Sunday has registered a case against 33 accused including government employees over the illegal sale and purchase of lands in Karachi.
According to the lawsuit filed in this regard, government employees along with 28 others who assisted are involved in making fake plot papers while a total of 123 plots were sold on fake papers.
Various estate agents and frontmen assisted all the plot sales.
Fake certificates from Scheme 33 Gulzar Hijri were used in selling the plots the lawsuit further stated.
An investigation report based on two years of research and FIR has been submitted to the court by the FIA.
