Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi has officially set beef prices across the city under the Sindh Essential Commodities Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act, 2005 (amended in 2008 and 2023).
The new prices are to be enforced immediately and will remain in effect until further notice. All retailers are required to display the official price list prominently at their shops.
Authorities have warned that no individual or association is allowed to issue a separate price list.
Consumers can lodge complaints via WhatsApp at 0316-0111712 or through the online complaint portal at www.ckcmsgov.com.
Officials have warned that strict action will be taken against vendors found violating the price list.
The initiative aims to ensure fair pricing and protect consumers from excessive charges.
