Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, said that several individuals had flagged down his vehicle in protest of the bad leadership of the Sindh government. All of the province’s elected officials, he noted, are present in their localities and keeping an eye on the rescue and relief efforts.
According to CM Shah, the media is not providing the natural calamity with the attention it requires.
The country’s chief minister, Sindh, voiced his discontent with the media’s coverage of the floods in a conversation with a media representative. He said, flood coverage in the media only recently began.
When asked about the distribution of tents, the CM stated that although 300,000 tents have been ordered, 6000 tents are being distributed daily. He stated that the Sindh government has made offers to purchase tents from the UAE, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.
The PPP leader continued by saying that because to damaged roadways, government personnel are having trouble distributing aid supplies.
He stated that 8,314 people had been injured and at least 470 individuals had died as a result of flooding. According to him, the province has seen damage to almost 3 million dwellings.
