Boat Basin to be turned into an official food street on Wahab’s orders

The Sindh government has decided to officially turn Clifton’s Boat Basin into a food street.

Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab, who visited Boat Basin on Friday along with Sindh Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Waqar Mehdi and Director of Neighbourhood Project Karamullah Waqasi, reviewed the ongoing development works at Boat Basin and was briefed about the food street. He also ordered that a walking track and other modern facilities be provided to citizens at the spot.

Wahab was appointed administrator of the KMC on August 5. He was appointed following orders by Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He also serves as the adviser to the Sindh chief minister.
