Former Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team captain Bisma Maroof expresses disappointment over the absence of women’s exhibition matches during the Pakistan Super League (PSL), emphasizing the significance of a PSL-style league for women cricketers.

Speaking at the annual sports day of Kinnaird College, Maroof highlights the benefits of playing with foreign players and participating in such events, citing the improvement in performance witnessed after last year’s exhibition matches.

Expressing regret over the unfulfilled promise of exhibition matches in the current PSL season, Maruf underscores the importance of learning opportunities and skill development through such events.

Looking ahead, Maroof acknowledges the upcoming series against West Indies as crucial and expresses determination to maintain the momentum gained from the New Zealand tour.

Regarding her support for PSL teams, Maruf states that all teams are dear to her, but as the brand ambassador of Islamabad United, she extends her support to the team.
