The Karachi bullion market witnessed a strong upward move on Tuesday, with gold prices posting significant gains as the recovery from recent lows gathers pace. The today gold rate in Karachi for 24-karat gold jumped by Rs. 2,400, closing at Rs. 459,736.

This marks the fourth consecutive session of gains for the yellow metal, with prices now having climbed approximately Rs. 38,000 from the multi-year lows below Rs. 421,000 seen in mid-July. The bullish momentum is steadily building as investor confidence returns.

In grams, 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 2,058 to Rs. 394,149, while 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,887 to Rs. 361,316. The solid gains across all variants indicate broad-based buying interest.

Gold rates in Karachi, August 11, 2026:

  • Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 459,736 (+2400)
  • Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 394,149 (+2058)
  • Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 361,316 (+1887)

The advance was fueled by continued strength in global markets. The international gold price per ounce rose by $24 to $4,373, extending its recovery from recent lows.

Since the historic peak above Rs. 563,000 in early March, gold remains significantly below those highs, but the recovery from the July lows represents a bounce of approximately 9%. With four consecutive gains, the uptrend appears to be gaining traction.

A day earlier, Karachi bullion market continued its steady upward march on Monday, with gold prices posting modest gains as the recovery from recent lows gains traction. The today gold rate in Karachi for 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 800, closing at Rs. 457,336.

This marks a continuation of the gradual recovery that began in late July, with gold now having climbed approximately Rs. 36,000 from the multi-year lows below Rs. 421,000.

In grams, 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 685 to Rs. 392,091, while 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 628 to Rs. 359,429. The consistent gains across all variants suggest sustained buying interest at current levels.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
