The strong rally in global gold rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with today’s gold rates in Karachi climbing sharply across all categories throughout the session.
Back-to-back sessions of significant gains have now dramatically transformed the picture from the depths of last week’s historic low, and the recovery is beginning to take on a more sustained character.
Gold Rates in Karachi Post a Fourth Straight Session of Gains
Wednesday’s powerful advance follows Tuesday’s surge of Rs. 4,700 per tola, Monday’s modest gain of Rs. 300 per tola, and Saturday’s recovery of Rs. 2,400 per tola, a four-session sequence that has collectively added Rs. 12,000 per tola back to domestic gold prices since the market bottomed out at Rs. 421,836 per tola on Friday, July 17.

The scale and consistency of the recovery over these four sessions stands in sharp contrast to the painful and relentless decline that had preceded it throughout much of July.
The combined gain of Rs. 12,000 per tola over four days has recovered a very significant portion of the losses accumulated during the correction, and today’s gold rates in Karachi are now approaching levels not seen since the early days of July when prices had briefly touched their highs.
Gold Rates in Karachi Push Toward Rs. 435,000
At Rs. 433,836 per tola, today’s gold rates in Karachi have now moved to their strongest level since before the sharpest phase of the mid-July sell-off, and are closing in on the Rs. 435,000 mark.
Internationally, gold at $4,114 per ounce is now trading well above both the $4,000 and $4,100 thresholds, reflecting a fundamentally improved global picture compared to last week’s historic lows.

Four consecutive sessions of meaningful gains is the most encouraging sequence the market has produced in several weeks and raises genuine questions about whether the brutal correction of mid-July has now been fully reversed.
Traders and investors will be watching closely whether gold rates in Karachi can sustain Wednesday’s momentum and push back toward Rs. 440,000 in the sessions ahead, or whether the market faces fresh resistance as prices approach higher levels.
