Today’s gold rates in Karachi and across Pakistan recorded a strong and decisive recovery on Tuesday, with the bullion market climbing sharply across all categories as international gold prices surged well above the $4,000 mark, building meaningfully on the cautious stabilisation seen over the preceding two sessions and offering the most convincing sign yet that the market may be finding its footing after a deeply difficult July.

Today’s gold rates in Karachi and Pakistan, July 21, 2026:

  • Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 429,236 (+4,700)
  • Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 368,000 (+4,029)
  • Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 337,346 (+3,694)

International gold prices also surged strongly, rising by $47 to settle at $4,068 per ounce, pushing global rates comfortably above the $4,000 level and extending the recovery that had begun tentatively over the weekend.

The sharp rebound in global gold rates was reflected in domestic pricing, with today’s gold rates in Karachi climbing firmly across all categories throughout Tuesday’s session.

After weeks of relentless pressure and historic lows, Tuesday’s powerful gain represents the strongest single session of recovery seen since the early July rally and signals a meaningful shift in market momentum.

Gold Rates in Karachi Build on a Three-Session Recovery

Tuesday’s strong advance builds on a run of cautious but consistent gains that had begun on Saturday.

READ: Gold rate edges up to Rs 424,536 across Pakistan

Saturday had seen gold rates in Karachi recover by Rs. 2,400 per tola to Rs. 424,236, following Friday’s historic breakdown which had pushed domestic prices to Rs. 421,836 and international gold below the psychologically significant $4,000 mark for the first time in a significant period.

Monday had then added a further modest gain of Rs. 300 per tola, settling gold prices at Rs. 424,536 as international gold edged up by $3 to $4,021, confirming that the $4,000 floor had held.

Tuesday’s far more convincing surge of Rs. 4,700 per tola now adds significant weight to that recovery and suggests the worst of July’s correction may be behind the market.

Gold Rates in Pakistan Approach Rs. 430,000

At Rs. 429,236 per tola, today’s gold rates in Karachi have now moved to within touching distance of the Rs. 430,000 mark, a level that had not been seen since before the sharpest phase of the mid-July sell-off.

Reclaiming and holding above this threshold in the coming sessions will be a key test of the recovery’s durability.

Internationally, gold at $4,068 per ounce has now moved comfortably above the $4,000 level, reflecting a meaningfully improved global picture compared to the depths of last week.

Market Outlook Turns Cautiously Optimistic

Gold rates in Karachi continue to be shaped by global economic signals, currency movements, and investor sentiment.

Three consecutive sessions of gains, culminating in Tuesday’s powerful surge, represent the most encouraging sequence the market has produced since early July and provide a degree of reassurance after one of the most difficult stretches Pakistan’s gold market has seen in recent memory.

Traders and investors will be watching closely whether today’s gold rates in Karachi can sustain Tuesday’s momentum and push back above Rs. 430,000 in the sessions ahead, or whether the market faces fresh headwinds as it approaches key resistance levels.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for 999 purity (24K).
