In the fourth and final day of the seventh round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Karachi Blues thrashed Abbottabad by 193 runs, while the match between Faisalabad and Islamabad ended in a draw.
At Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Abbottabad came in chasing a massive target of 519 set by Karachi Blues.

Courtesy of Shan Masood’s unbeaten 250, hitting 28 fours and six sixes, while Rameez Aziz contributed 78 runs.

The visitors began their second innings at 147 for 4 but were bowled out for 325.
Ahmed Khan top-scored with 88 runs, followed by Shahab Khan’s 56.
Kashif Bhatti starred with the ball, taking six wickets for 98 runs, while Saqib Khan claimed two.

With a total of nine wickets in the match, Saqib Khan was named Player of the Match.
Meanwhile, at Abbottabad Stadium, Islamabad were chasing 449 runs against Faisalabad.
They started their second innings at 159 for 1 and finished at 429 for 8 when the match concluded.

Shamyl Hussain led the charge with a brilliant 131, supported by Hunain Shah’s 66, Rohail Nazir’s 65, Arsal Sheikh’s unbeaten 62, and Abdul Faseeh’s 57.
Hunain Shah and Arsal Sheikh added a 111-run partnership for the eighth wicket, showcasing excellent teamwork.
Afaq Afridi took three crucial wickets for Faisalabad, while Awais Zafar was named Player of the Match.
