Pakistan spinner Noman Ali has been shortlisted for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for October 2025, alongside South Africa’s Senuran Muthusamy and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.
Noman enjoyed another excellent month in Test cricket, standing out during Pakistan’s two-match series against South Africa.
The left-arm spinner picked up 14 wickets at an impressive average of 23.07, further strengthening his reputation as one of the world’s most reliable red-ball bowlers.

In the opening Test in Lahore, Noman delivered a match-winning performance, taking 6/112 and 4/79 to seal Pakistan’s 93-run victory, marking his third ten-wicket haul in Test cricket.
He continued his fine form in the Rawalpindi Test, claiming four more wickets and contributing 17 runs with the bat to finish as the leading wicket-taker of the series.
For South Africa, all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy produced a memorable showing in the same series.

The 31-year-old made vital contributions with both bat and ball, scoring 106 runs at an average of 53 and taking 11 wickets at 18.36, efforts that earned him the Player of the Series award.
His standout moments included career-best bowling figures of 11/174 in Lahore and an unbeaten 89 in Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan showcased his brilliance across formats against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

In five T20Is, the leg-spinner claimed nine wickets at an economy rate of just 4.82, highlighted by spells of 4/18 against Bangladesh and 3/9 against Zimbabwe.
Rashid was equally effective in the ODI series against Bangladesh, where Afghanistan completed a 3-0 sweep.
He picked up 11 wickets at a remarkable economy of 2.73, with a best of 5/17 in the second match, and also made useful contributions with the bat to cap off a dominant month.
