The final medico-legal report into the death of Pakistani model and actress Humaira Asghar has been prepared in Karachi, raising serious doubts of her death.
According to the report, bloodstains were clearly visible on Humaira’s T-shirt and trousers. DNA samples were also extracted from the clothes of the deceased, but the incomplete remains created significant challenges for forensic experts.
The findings reveal that only bones were recovered, with no other body parts available for examination.
Despite this limitation, doctors confirmed all bones were intact and showed no external injuries.
The report concluded that due to the absence of vital body parts, the exact cause of death could not be established.
Police officials highlighted that Pakistan currently lacks a centralized databank for blood and DNA analysis. Officials believe if such facilities existed, the investigation could have progressed much further.
Investigators also revealed that not a single mobile phone belonging to Humaira Asghar has been recovered yet. Authorities stated that phone records could have offered critical clues in the case.
Police authorities added that mobile phone data might have clarified Humaira’s final contacts and movements. Without this crucial information, the probe remains dependent on limited forensic and circumstantial evidence.

Earlier to this, shocking findings have emerged from the post-mortem report of Pakistani actor and model Humaira Asghar Ali, whose body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition earlier this week in Karachi’s Defence Phase VI apartment.
According to the preliminary report by Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, the body may have been lying undiscovered for eight to ten months.
As per the initial post-mortem report, Humaira’s body was severely decomposed, with facial features unrecognizable, muscle tissue largely absent, and some bones crumbling on contact. The brain had fully liquefied, and internal organs had turned into a black mass.
No fractures were observed, and although the head and spine remained intact, the spinal cord was missing. Small brown insects were found in the hair, but no maggots were present.
Due to the extreme state of decomposition, the cause of death remains undetermined. DNA profiling and toxicology tests are underway to seek further clues. Samples of her hair, blood, and clothing have been sent for chemical analysis.
Humaira’s remains were discovered when police arrived to execute a court-ordered eviction.
After getting no response, they forced entry into the apartment around 3:15 PM and found her body on the floor. Humaira had lived alone for seven years and was reportedly last seen in October 2024.
