According to PPP Spokesperson of district central, Asad Hanif, the sanitation jobs include positions for Operations Manager, Manual Sweeping Contractors, Field Supervisors, and Door-to-Door Collection Supervisors.
The initiative aims to build a cleaner, greener, and better Karachi through improved waste management services.
Operations Manager Position
The Operations Manager role requires a minimum of 16 years of education in Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

Candidates must have proven experience in managing municipal solid waste operations, including collection, sweeping, transportation, and large field teams.
Strong leadership, reporting capabilities, stakeholder coordination, and knowledge of environmental regulations and HSE practices are essential.
Manual Sweeping Contractors
Manual Sweeping Contractors must hold a minimum Matric qualification with 3-5 years of experience in sanitation or manpower management.
Proven ability to recruit, deploy, and manage 200-plus sanitary workers while ensuring operational efficiency is required.
Strong leadership, knowledge of waste management operations, and own transportation for manpower deployment will be preferred.
Field Supervisors
Field Supervisors need Intermediate or higher qualification with 2-3 years of supervisory experience in sanitation or municipal services.
Responsibilities include supervising field staff, monitoring attendance, resolving complaints, and maintaining operational reports. A motorcycle license and own transportation will be preferred for this role.
Door-to-Door Collection Supervisors
Door-to-Door Collection Supervisors require Intermediate or higher qualification with 2-plus years of experience in door-to-door waste collection or municipal sanitation.
Experience in supervising collection teams, route monitoring, and maintaining daily operational records is essential. A valid motorcycle license and own transportation are required.
