Gold rates in Karachi and across Pakistan fell by Rs. 800 per tola on Tuesday, extending the decline after Monday’s Rs. 1,800 drop as international gold prices also edged lower.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs. 800 per tola to Rs. 465,336.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs. 686 to Rs. 398,950, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams fell by Rs. 629 to Rs. 365,717.

Gold rates in Karachi and Pakistan today, September 1, 2026:

  • Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 465,336 (-800)
  • Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 398,950 (-686)
  • Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 365,717 (-629)

International gold prices also edged lower, falling by $8 to settle at $4,428 per ounce. The decline extended the mild pullback seen after last week’s sharp correction.

The softer global trend was reflected in the local market, although Tuesday’s decline was much smaller than the steep losses recorded in recent sessions.

Gold rates in Karachi extend Monday’s decline

Tuesday’s fall follows a Rs. 1,800 decline on Monday, when gold settled at Rs. 466,136 per tola.

The latest Rs. 800 drop has pushed the price further below the Rs. 466,000 mark.

The market has now seen smaller daily losses after last week’s sharp Rs. 15,100 decline, indicating some moderation in price movements.

Gold rates in Karachi settle at Rs. 465,336

At Rs. 465,336 per tola, 24-karat gold has moved further away from the Rs. 470,000 level. The market will now be closely watched for signs of stabilization or another move lower.

Internationally, gold at $4,428 per ounce has also seen a relatively modest decline, keeping the local market under some downward pressure.

Market outlook remains cautious

Gold rates in Pakistan continue to be influenced by global prices, currency movements and investor sentiment. Tuesday’s smaller decline suggests that the market may be settling after last week’s heavy correction, although the short-term direction remains uncertain.
