This minor correction represents a healthy pause after the explosive Rs. 13,700 gain recorded on Monday. The pullback suggests a market consolidation phase as traders take profits following the sharp rally.

In 10 grams, 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 3,001 to Rs. 414,125, while 22-karat gold fell by Rs. 2,751 to Rs. 379,628. The modest declines across all variants indicate controlled selling pressure.

The dip was influenced by a slight retreat in global markets. The international gold price per ounce fell by $35 to $4,605, pulling back from recent highs. This global market pause provided a bearish cue for local traders.

Despite today’s decline, gold remains significantly above the July lows and has still gained approximately Rs. 62,000 from the bottom near Rs. 421,000. The broader uptrend appears intact, with today’s move viewed as a routine consolidation.
