Weather Outlook: Unsettled Conditions Expected in Interior Sindh on July 3

Hot and dry weather is expected to prevail over most parts of Sindh province during this period. However, duststorm and thunderstorm activity along with light rain is expected to occur in Ghotki, Sukkur, Larkana, Kamber Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, and Naushoreferoz districts on July 3.

Along the coast, conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of isolated drizzle throughout the period.

Karachi’s Relative Moderation

While several interior Sindh districts are expected to face unsettled and stormy conditions by Friday, Karachi is forecast to experience a gradual and more orderly shift in weather over the three-day period.

Wednesday marks the final day of the ongoing windy spell, with Thursday bringing calmer but still humid conditions, and Friday introducing mostly cloudy skies and light rain chances, a meaningful change from the consistently partly cloudy pattern seen over the past several days.

Friday’s slightly lower maximum of 33-35°C also offers a modest dip in temperature, providing marginally more comfortable conditions as the week draws to a close.

However, morning humidity levels of 70-80 per cent through Thursday and Friday remain elevated and will continue to make conditions feel warmer and stickier than the recorded temperatures suggest.

Light Rain Chances Increase Heading Into Friday

While Wednesday and Thursday carry chances of isolated drizzle, Friday’s forecast represents a notable upgrade, with mostly cloudy skies and chances of both drizzle and light rain expected across the city.

This signals a gradual increase in moisture along the coast as the week progresses, and residents should keep this in mind when planning outdoor activities toward the end of the week.

Weather data for this report has been obtained from the official website of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
