Shehbaz Sharif noted that around three months ago, the US-Israel war against Iran had caused a sharp rise in global oil prices. However, after the ceasefire, prices have started declining rapidly, with further reductions expected in the coming days.
He said the easing of tensions would also support regional economic stability and broader prosperity, while describing the recent period of high prices as a “dark phase” that is now ending.
