Maximum temperatures are forecast between 34–36°C, while minimum temperatures will remain between 28–30°C. Morning humidity is expected in the 70–80 per cent range, dropping to 50–60 per cent by evening. Winds will continue from a southwesterly direction.

Drizzle Chances Add a New Element to Karachi’s Weather

A notable development in this forecast is the chance of isolated drizzle during the night and morning hours across all three days, a welcome shift from the relentlessly dry and hot conditions that have dominated Karachi’s weather in recent weeks.

While the drizzle is expected to remain light and isolated rather than widespread, it signals a gradual change in the weather pattern as moisture levels increase along the coast.

The PMD has also noted that hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of Sindh province today, while duststorm, thunderstorm, and light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places in Jacobabad, Kashmore, Kambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Larkana, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Nosheroferoz districts tomorrow.

Strong windstorms may also damage weak structures such as solar panels, electric poles, and billboards in affected areas.

Karachi’s Relative Moderation

While interior Sindh continues to face unsettled and stormy conditions, Karachi is expected to remain relatively calm with stable temperatures across all three days of the forecast. The combination of partly cloudy skies, occasional winds, and drizzle chances during night and morning hours should provide marginally more comfortable conditions compared to the intense heat of the past week.

However, humidity levels, particularly in the mornings, remain elevated and will continue to make conditions feel warmer than the recorded temperatures suggest.

Vigilance Advised for All Authorities

The PMD has advised all concerned authorities to remain alert and take necessary precautionary measures to deal with any storm or weather-related emergencies that may arise during the forecast period, particularly in districts of interior Sindh where unsettled conditions are expected.
