Pakistani leg-spinner Usama Mir has come forward to speak about an alleged fraud involving him, revealing details of the incident and announcing plans to take legal action.
In an interview with Geo News, Usama Mir said he intends to take strict legal steps against a person named Abdul Rehman, who allegedly defrauded him.

“I will return to Sialkot and knock on every door to pursue legal action,” Mir said.
“This person has committed fraud and deception. I will follow every possible legal channel, and I hope the relevant authorities cooperate.”
Mir stated that he had invested a total of AED 800,000 and the agreement promising returns on this investment was never honored.
“I have all the documents, along with message exchanges to prove my claim,” he added.

He further explained, “I received neither profits nor my money back. Only promises were made. Even the plots that were presented as guarantees turned out to be fraudulent. His associates continued to lie, first making promises, now they have completely stopped communicating.”
Reports revealed that under the guise of a partnership, the company owner allegedly took millions of rupees from players.
It is noted that several leading Pakistani cricketers were involved in investments of this nature, but Usama Mir is the only player who has publicly come forward so far.
Many others reportedly fear revealing the matter could result in substantial financial losses.
