Market analysts say the surge was mainly driven by strong gains in the international market. Globally, silver prices jumped by $1.88 to settle at $95.66 per ounce.

The sudden rise in global prices pushed local rates higher, triggering increased buying activity across major cities.

The breach of the Rs. 10,000 per tola level is considered a psychological breakthrough for traders and investors. Market observers say such milestones often lead to further speculative buying in the short term.

Investors are advised to monitor international market trends closely, as local silver prices largely follow global movements and exchange rate changes.

All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
