Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has reportedly lost 85 percent of vision in his right eye, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Muhammad Sohail Afridi revealed.
The serious deterioration of the PTI leader’s eye condition came under discussion after Barrister Salman Safdar submitted a report to the Supreme Court following a meeting with former PM Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.
According to the report, Imran Khan now has only 10–15 percent vision in his right eye, a sharp decline from normal vision just three months ago. The report recommended an immediate eye examination to assess the extent of damage.

KP CM Afridi accused the Punjab government of deliberate neglect and mistreatment of the former prime minister while in custody.
He also said that Imran Khan’s personal physician has yet to conduct a full examination, and jail authorities have failed to provide any satisfactory explanation regarding his condition.
Afridi claimed that Imran Khan was subjected to mistreatment, which worsened his medical situation.

According to Salman Safdar’s report, Imran Khan reported a sudden and substantial loss of vision over the past three months while in custody. Until October 2025, he reportedly had normal 6 x 6 vision.
