Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that the victims of the Gul Plaza incident will soon received financial assistance from the provincial government.
Speaking to the media in Karachi, CM Murad Ali Shah emphasized the importance of public cooperation to safeguard the city from tragedies. He confirmed that families of those who lost their lives in the Gul Plaza incident will receive compensation of PKR 1 crore each within two to three weeks.

The Chief Minister stated that the Karachi Chamber of Commerce is fully cooperating with the government. Together, they have prepared detailed lists of shops affected in the Gul Plaza fire.
He added that temporary financial support is also being provided to affected shopkeepers to help them manage household expenses during this difficult period.

CM Murad Ali Shah also mentioned that some philanthropists have offered free shops for one year, and the government has reviewed these offers. This process is expected to be completed within one to one and a half months.
The government aims to provide financial support and shops to Gul Plaza victims within two months.
The Chief Minister clarified that no new large building will be constructed on the Gul Plaza site, and the Sindh Cabinet has decided that Gul Plaza will be rebuilt on the same location.
