The company has decided to suspend gas supply to industrial and CNG sectors for 48 hours, aiming to redirect gas towards domestic and commercial consumers who have been struggling with low pressure during peak hours.

SSGC has stated that the shutdown will impact industrial units, captive power plants, and all CNG stations, including those operating on RLNG. The suspension will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday, January 24, and continue until 8:00 am on Monday, January 26.

The spokesperson clarified that the domestic sector across Karachi will continue receiving gas as per routine.

Domestic consumers facing low gas pressure or other supply issues are advised to register complaints through SSGC’s 24-hour helpline at 1199, where dedicated staff will respond promptly to resolve problems.
