More Toshakhana records have surfaced as the Cabinet Division released details of gifts received during the October–December 2025 quarter.
The released documents show that all listed officials deposited their received gifts into the Toshakhana. The records include gifts received by the President, Prime Minister, cabinet members, and other senior government officials.
President, PM among key recipients
According to the records, Pakistan’s top officials, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, were among the recipients.

According to a report published by The News on Monday, all the listed personalities deposited the gifts they received into Toshakhana, the official government repository for gifts given to public office holders.
Other ministers and officials of Pakistan
The Cabinet Division’s record shows that several senior federal ministers and officials were also among the recipients during the quarter.
These include the First Lady, IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Power Minister Awais Leghari, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema, Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.
In addition, the list includes Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, the President’s Military Secretary, President’s Spokesperson Murtaza Solangi, the Auditor General of Pakistan, Minister of State for Railways and Finance Musarrat Zaidi, Director General Minerals Dr Nawaz Ahmed Virk, Secretary Economic Affairs, Secretary IT, the President’s ADC, and several other senior officials.
According to the Cabinet Division data, the gifts received during the October–December 2025 quarter included a wide range of valuable and ceremonial items.
These included models of Roza-e-Rasool, Khana Kaaba, and Makkah Mukarramah, paintings, perfumes, shields, carpets, tea sets, swords, daggers, vases, watches, decorative pieces, Saudi coffee, books, royal caps, souvenirs, table clocks, a Metro Bus model, coffee pots, shirts, musical instruments, blankets, scarves, ties, and other items.
The documents state that all recipients deposited their gifts in Toshakhana during the quarter. The Cabinet Division is currently assessing the value of the deposited items, and related procedural steps are ongoing.
Notably, the latest list does not include the names of gift-givers.
In contrast, the Toshakhana record released for the previous half of the financial year, covering January to June 2025, had included details of both foreign and local personalities who presented the gifts.

The government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has gradually made Toshakhana records public, covering the period from 2002 to September 2025. Records from 1997 to 2001 have also already been released as part of the transparency drive.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received a shawl, a Rolex watch, perfume, and Loro Piana fabric.
Ishaq Dar
Ishaq Dar received traditional items and gifts from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, and Bahrain.
The release of these records has once again brought public attention to Toshakhana disclosures and the handling of gifts received by public office holders.
