WAPDA and Pakistan Television (PTV) registered commanding victories in the third round of the ongoing President’s Trophy Grade-I 2025-26, showcasing dominant performances with both bat and ball.
At the UBL Sports Complex, WAPDA defeated Sahir Associates by an innings and 32 runs.
Batting first, WAPDA posted 323 runs in 89.2 overs, with Mohammad Ammar scoring a brilliant 147 off 274 balls, including 23 fours.

Skipper Khalid Usman also played a key role, contributing 93 runs from 174 balls with eight fours and two sixes.
Sahir Associates struggled in reply, bowled out for just 103 in 39.2 overs.
Mohammad Adil took four wickets, while Mohammad Zeeshan, and Naqeebullah, claimed three wickets in the first innings.
Forced to follow on, Sahir Associates managed 188 in their second innings, with Mohammad Mohsin Khan top-scoring with 51.
Mohammad Zeeshan shone with the ball again, taking six wickets for 66 runs in 18 overs, supported by Adil and Naqeebullah.
In another thrilling contest at the National Bank Stadium, PTV defeated Ghani Glass by 88 runs, powered by a brilliant all-round performance from Amad Butt.
PTV were initially bowled out for 186, with Shamyl Hussain scoring 68.

Ghani Glass responded with 223 in their first innings, led by Khurram Shahzad (48) and Yahya Bin Abdul Rehman (43).
Chasing 157 in the second innings, Ghani Glass collapsed for just 68 runs in 14 overs.
Amad Butt starred with six wickets for 29 runs, while Musa Khan picked up three, and Israr Hussain also made key contribution with one scalp.
Meanwhile, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (ODGCL) gained the upper hand against Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) thanks to Mohammad Sarwar’s resilient innings.
Batting first, ODGCL made 244, with Danish Aziz top-scoring with 56.
KRL replied with 347, led by Waqar Ahmed’s 81 and Saad Baig’s 80.

ODGCL finished day three at 199 for 4 in their second innings, with Sarwar unbeaten on 90.
At the State Bank Stadium, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) put State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) under pressure with an exceptional bowling display from Shehzad Gul.
Chasing 224, SBP ended the day at 170-8, needing 54 more runs to win.
Gul’s fiery spell of 5/49 in 15 overs and support from Shahnawaz Dahani (2 wickets) kept SNGPL in control.
Earlier, Gul had also starred in SNGPL’s first innings, helping them to restrict SBP to 115.
Azan Awais top-scored with 129, while Shan Masood contributed 35 in their first innings.
For SBP, Shahid Aziz picked up four wickets, and Niaz Khan and Mohammad Ismail took two wickets each.
SNGPL were bowled out for just 75 in their second innings, with Shan Masood top-scoring at 26.
