Hyderabad Hunters continued their impressive run in the Pakistan Tape-Ball Premier League (PTPL) 2025, organized by Badar Expo Solutions in collaboration with the Pakistan Tape-Ball Foundation, with a thrilling 12-run victory over Lahore Lions in Match 21 at the Naya Nazimabad Cricket Ground.

After winning the toss, Hyderabad Hunters opted to bat first and set a total of 66 in their first innings.

Their innings was anchored by a fighting knock from Raza Chandio, who smashed 20 runs off just 9 balls.

Lahore Lions fought hard and scored 78 in their first innings.

Hyderabad fought back in their second innings and scored a competitive 127.

Their innings was once again powered by a sensational knock from Raza Chandio, who smashed 57 runs off just 18 balls.

Mimran also made a valuable contribution with 49 runs from 21 deliveries, giving Hyderabad the momentum they needed.

Lahore Lions responded strongly during the chase, with Falak Bashir leading the charge by scoring an aggressive 54 runs.

Abdul Basit added a quick 26-run cameo off 11 balls, while Falak Bashir earlier impressed with a brisk 23 off 10 balls in the first innings.

However, Hyderabad’s bowlers held their nerve at crucial moments.

Maaz Ullah picked up two important wickets.

Despite Lahore Lions taking multiple wickets in quick succession in the first innings, including a fiery spell from Shahnawaz, who claimed three wickets, Hyderabad Hunters managed to defend their second innings total successfully.

Raza Chandio was named Player of the Match for his outstanding batting display, which proved decisive in Hyderabad’s narrow win.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tape-Ball Premier League action continues today with three exciting fixtures scheduled at the Naya Nazimabad Cricket Ground.

Match 22 will see Rawalpindi Royals take on Quetta Qurbans from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

This will be followed by Match 23 between Sukkur Strikers and Peshawar Shaheens from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

The day will conclude with Match 24, where Karachi Kids face Hyderabad Hunters in a late-night clash starting at 10:00 pm.
