Funding for the package will be arranged through the Infrastructure Development Cess, a levy collected specifically from industrial contributions for infrastructure-related improvements.

Sharjeel Memon explained that funds would be allocated to different industrial zones based on actual needs, urgency, and existing infrastructure gaps across Karachi.

The Karachi industrial development package will focus on repairing roads, improving drainage systems, upgrading utilities, and restoring basic civic infrastructure in industrial districts.
