A comparison of police data from October and November 2025 shows significant decreases in vehicle snatching and theft, demonstrating the immediate effects of expanded surveillance and stronger monitoring practices throughout Karachi.

Snatching of four-wheel vehicles declined from twenty-five cases in October to nineteen in November, while four-wheel theft also showed improvement, dropping from one hundred fifty-three cases to one hundred forty-one overall.
Motorcycle-related crimes saw the most visible reductions, with two-wheel snatching falling from five hundred sixty-five cases in October to three hundred ninety-one in November, marking a strong improvement in targeted crime zones.

Motorcycle theft also decreased notably, dropping from three thousand one hundred nineteen cases in October to two thousand seven hundred fifty-two cases, reflecting better surveillance coverage in previously high-risk neighborhoods.
Mobile phone snatching incidents recorded a similar positive trend, falling from one thousand six hundred sixty-two cases in October to one thousand four hundred three in November, according to the latest police statistics.

Other serious crimes showed encouraging declines as well, with extortion cases reducing from eighteen to fifteen, alongside homicides which dropped from forty-eight in October to thirty-nine in November.
Kidnapping for ransom reported only one case each month, while officials confirmed no incidents of bank robberies or major dacoities in either of the two months observed.
