The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) continues to provide special facilities for the specially-abled persons across its offices in Pakistan.
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, NADRA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their condition, has access to identity documents.
NADRA issues a unique identification card for specially-abled persons, which is free for the first issuance and valid for life.

So far, over 1 million such ID cards, marked with a distinctive symbol, have been distributed.
The authority also offers priority services to make the process easier.

Specially-abled persons can book appointments through a dedicated helpline 1777, and offices are equipped with wheelchairs.
Their applications are processed under the executive category, allowing them to skip long queues.

The Pak ID mobile app further simplifies the process by enabling individuals to schedule appointments and register their condition online.
