Bowlers dominated the first day of the eighth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, with standout performances across venues.
Khalid Usman of Abbottabad stole the spotlight, claiming seven wickets against Faisalabad in a brilliant bowling display.
At the Marghzar Ground in Islamabad, Faisalabad were bowled out for 121 in their first innings, with Jahandad Khan top-scoring with 31.

Khalid Usman picked up 7 wickets while conceding just 42 runs.
Abbottabad replied with 123, led by Shahzaib Khan’s 53.

Ali Asfand took 5 wickets for 31 runs, and Hasan Raza added 4 wickets to help restrict them.
Faisalabad were 97 for 2 in their second innings at stumps, with Faham-ul-Haq and Ali Asfand remained unbeaten on 37 and 34 respectively.
In Rawalpindi’s Shoaib Akhtar Cricket Stadium, Bahawalpur were all out for 140 against Lahore Whites.
Saad Khan scored 37, while Noman Ali took 4 and Aamir Jamal took 3 wickets.
Lahore Whites reached 132 for 7 by the close, with Hussain Talat scoring a solid 58.

At the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, Peshawar posted 239 in their first innings against Multan.
Abbas Ali led with a brilliant 116, supported by Sajid Khan’s 60.
Ali Usman picked up 5 wickets for 79 runs. Multan were 27 for 5 at the close of play.
In Abbottabad, FATA faced table-toppers Sialkot and were bowled out for 110 in their first innings, with Khushdil Shah top-scoring with 37.
While, Usama Mir took 4 wickets.

Sialkot responded with 186, led by Mohsin Riaz’s 33, while Asif Afridi claimed 5 wickets for 48 runs.
FATA were 10 without loss in their second innings.
At Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, Islamabad posted 161 in their first innings against Karachi Blues, with Shamyl Hussain scoring 85.
Kashif Bhatti took 5 wickets for 61, and Mohammad Asghar picked up 4.
Karachi Blues finished the day at 294 for 6, led by Saud Shakeel unbeaten on 88 while Abdullah Fazal scored 73.
