Eligibility
Cultural visas are for individuals wishing to engage in cultural activities in Oman, such as:
- Temporary residence for cultural exchange or technical training
- Academic or research collaboration in arts, culture, or heritage
- Participation in cultural conferences, festivals, or exhibitions
- Organizing cultural events or exhibitions

- 1-year visa (OMR 50)
- 5-year visa (OMR 50 per year)
- 10-year visa (OMR 50 per year)

Find a Host Institution
To apply for a cultural visa in Oman, you’ll require sponsorship from a relevant institution like: Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth and Cultural centers.
Your host institution will support and manage your application for residency in Oman.

Submit Your Application
Submit your visa application along with all documents requested to the appropriate authority – your host institution can guide you through this process.
Visa Approval
When your application has been reviewed and approved, a cultural visa will be issued, granting temporary residence and permission to engage in cultural activities in Oman.
Bring Your Family (Optional)
Once granted a cultural visa, spouse and children can also apply for visas to join you in Oman. Make sure to include their names when making your application if this is desired.
