Pakistani citizens planning to visit Italy as tourists are required to obtain a Schengen visa.

According to recent data, Italy had an 88.72% Schengen visa approval rate in 2024, making it the third-highest in Europe.
However, visa approval depends entirely on the quality of the application and submission of the correct documents, including proof of sufficient financial resources.

Applicants must provide a bank statement not older than 30 days to show they can cover daily expenses in Italy, which are set at a minimum of 28 euros per day.
For a maximum 90-day stay, travelers need to demonstrate access to at least 2,520 euros.
As of November 4, 2025, one euro equals 331 Pakistani rupees.
This means tourists planning a 90-day visit should have approximately 834,000 rupees available in their bank accounts to meet visa requirements.
Meeting these financial criteria ensures that Pakistani travelers can enjoy a smooth and worry-free trip to Italy.
