The Sindh Police have launched a province-wide crackdown against vehicles without number plates, following directives from Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon.
According to the official order, officers across the province have been instructed to take strict action under the Motor Vehicle Ordinance against any cars or motorcycles found without proper registration plates.

“All vehicles without number plates must be identified, and strict action should be taken in accordance with the law,” the IG stated in his directive.

He further ordered that a comprehensive crackdown be carried out to ensure full enforcement of the law.
“Daily reports on the number of vehicles seized, cases registered, and arrests made should be submitted,” Ghulam Nabi Memon added.
The directive has been sent to the Additional IG Karachi as well as all DIGs and SSPs across Sindh.
Police sources revealed that after the implementation of the e-challan system, several vehicles were seen on city roads without number plates, prompting this immediate action.
