Following the recent implementation of the e-challan system in Karachi, Sindh Police have initiated an intensive training and awareness campaign aimed at all police drivers in the metropolis in order to ensure full compliance with the newly introduced digital traffic laws.
Under the direction of the Sindh Inspector General of Police, an initiative will be carried out by the Sindh Police Training Department.

Officials confirmed that 925 police drivers from various Karachi-based departments will receive one-day training designed to enhance professional skills while familiarizing them with TRACS e-ticketing rules.
DIG Training issued a formal communication to Additional IG Karachi and all DIGs of Traffic, T&T, RRF, SPU, Crime and Investigation CTD, and Special Branch, instructing all units to ensure full participation of drivers in training programmes without exception.

Authorities announced that the initial phase of awareness training will take place on November 1 at the Scouts Auditorium of Sindh Boys Scouts Association near the DIG South Office.
The sessions are designed to accommodate large audiences due to the scale and urgency of digital enforcement systems.
Sindh Police announced that two sessions have been planned to train Karachi Range officers.

A total of 500 personnel across multiple departments will receive training; 100 from Traffic Karachi, 100 from T&T, 50 from RAF, 25 from SPU/CPEC/SPUECECEC/SPU/CPEC/CTCEC, Crime and Investigation 25th CTD, 50th Special Branch, 50th Special Branch, and DIG Training Branch are among them.
Officials announced that the first session will run from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and train 464 personnel; then another session from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm will follow, where 461 are trained.

Officials stated their goal is for police drivers to fully understand digital enforcement tools, traffic rules, and operational procedures that come with this new system.
IG Sindh stressed the purpose of the training is to ‘intensify professional competence, raise awareness of updated traffic laws and promote police driver leadership by example’.
