Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Government of Pakistan, held an interactive session with businessmen during an event organised by Pakistan Business Council (PBC), Dubai.
The event brought together Pakistani businessmen, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the UAE, including board members of Pakistan Business Council Sharjah, to discuss avenues for enhancing trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE.
Mr. Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan underscored the Government of Pakistan’s focus on facilitating overseas Pakistanis and acknowledged their vital contributionsto the country’s economic development. He encouraged the business community to explore emerging opportunities in Pakistan’s industrial and investment sectors.

Mr. Muhammad Shabbir Merchant, Chairman PBC Dubai, thanked the Minister for engaging with the business community, saying that PBC’s is committed to serving as a bridge between the private sectors of both countries.
Mr. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor, Consulate General of Pakistan, highlighted the UAE’s role as one of Pakistan’s key trade and investment partners and appreciated PBC’s contribution in promoting bilateral economic ties.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion on prospects for deepening Pakistan–UAE economic collaboration.
