Hussain Jahan, the former wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, has been booked in a case over an alleged attempt to murder her neighbour in West Bengal, according to Indian media reports.

The case was registered in Suri, Birbhum district, and includes serious allegations of attempted murder, assault and criminal conspiracy.
According to reports, the dispute reportedly arose over a plot of land in Ward No. 5 of Suri.
Hussain Jahan has alleged that a woman identified as Guddu Bibi was attempting to take control of the disputed property. The land is reportedly registered in the name of Hussain Jahan’s daughter, Arshi Jahan.
The dispute escalated when Hussain Jahan allegedly began construction work on the plot.
Her neighbour, Dalia Khatun, reportedly attempted to stop the construction, following which a confrontation took place.

Indian media reports allege that Hussain Jahan and her daughter attacked Khatun during the dispute.
The allegations are part of the case registered against Hussain Jahan, while further proceedings and investigation will determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
