President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the First-Class Order of Zayed II on Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for his distinguished diplomatic service.

The prestigious decoration was formally presented to Ambassador Tirmizi by Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar during a ceremony at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi. The event reflected the enduring warmth and cooperation between the two countries.
During the presentation, H.E. Al Marar conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He lauded Ambassador Tirmizi’s dedicated efforts in further deepening Pakistan–UAE relations based on mutual trust, respect, and shared goals.
Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi expressed his profound gratitude to the UAE leadership, calling the honour “deeply humbling and overwhelmingly delightful.”
He extended warm regards from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar to the UAE government and people for their unwavering support during his tenure.

In his remarks, Tirmizi emphasized that the award symbolized collective achievement rather than individual recognition.
