Her appointment concurs with her rising international profile, following her debut in the Indian Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3, which achieved cross-border success and strengthened cultural ties between audiences in both nations.
She was recently honoured with the Global Star Award at a ceremony in Houston, recognising her growing impact in global entertainment and advocacy for women’s empowerment and youth engagement.
UN Women Pakistan stated that Hania’s appointment would help the organisation reach younger audiences, promoting gender equality, ending gender-based violence, and empowering women socially and economically.
