Director General of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, inaugurated a state-of-the-art data center at Jinnah International Airport Karachi on October 7, 2025.
The newly established data center marks a major milestone in PAA’s ongoing digital transformation initiative, aimed at integrating data from headquarters, Karachi operations, and other airports across the country.
Officials said the centralized system will enhance real-time decision-making, streamline operations, and improve overall service efficiency at major airports managed by the authority.
During the inauguration ceremony, Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed interacted with the project team and technical officers, discussing the project’s operational feasibility and long-term technological benefits.

He commended the technical staff for their professionalism and dedication, noting that the center reflects PAA’s commitment to digital innovation and modernization of airport infrastructure in Pakistan.
According to the PAA, the data center will support upcoming passenger-friendly facilities such as e-gates, free Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity, enhancing travel convenience and digital access for travelers.
Shields were also presented to the Additional Director IT, Project Director, and other team members in recognition of their contributions toward the project’s successful completion.
