The Karachi Intermediate Board has decided to give one more chance to students who exhausted their final exam attempt in 2008, allowing them to appear again in the upcoming examinations.
According to officials, the Sindh Boards Committee of Chairmen (SBCC) had approved in March 2018 that such students would be allowed extra opportunities to complete their intermediate examinations.
In line with that earlier decision, the Karachi Intermediate Board announced that students from Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Commerce, Arts, Home Economics, and Medical Technology are eligible for the 2025 supplementary exams.
Candidates who lost their final chance in 2008 must now pay a special fee to reappear. This policy aims to accommodate former students who could not complete their education.
The board stated that eligible students may submit exam forms through its official online portal starting Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and the deadline for submission is October 29, 2025.
Applicants must pay a special exam fee of Rs. 6,000 online. The prescribed amount can be deposited through the same official Karachi Board online portal for timely confirmation of registration.
