Pakistan Army successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-4, Ground Launched Cruise Missile, achieving a 750-kilometer range with advanced avionics, navigational systems, and terrain-hugging features for high-precision strikes.
The Fatah-4 missile, inducted under the Army Rocket Force Command, is designed to enhance Pakistan Army’s conventional missile capabilities by improving reach, lethality, and survivability against evolving threats in the region.
Equipped with cutting-edge avionics, the system is capable of evading modern missile defense shields due to its low-altitude flight path, enabling it to engage assigned targets with high accuracy and reliability.
The training launch was observed by the Chief of General Staff, senior officers from Pakistan’s Armed Forces, as well as dedicated teams of scientists and engineers involved in the project.
Following the successful launch, the President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs extended congratulations to the troops, scientists, and engineers on this significant milestone for national defense capabilities.
Military experts view the induction of Fatah-4 as a continuation of Pakistan’s efforts to modernize its conventional missile systems, ensuring readiness and strategic balance in the face of regional security challenges.
