Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was given a warm farewell at a reception hosted in his honor by Vista Maritime Travel Tourism in Dubai.
The event, attended by Emirati dignitaries, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the Pakistani community, served as both a celebration of his successful tenure and a reflection on the strong ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
In his farewell remarks, Ambassador Tirmizi expressed deep gratitude for the cooperation, hospitality, and friendship extended by the UAE leadership and people during his time in office.
He highlighted the enduring bilateral relationship between the two countries and praised the efforts of the Pakistani diaspora for their contribution to strengthening those bonds.
Looking ahead to his next assignment as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Ambassador Tirmizi noted the unique opportunities that lie in building diplomatic bridges with a country known for its rich history, cultural depth, and global significance.
He also took a moment to acknowledge the teamwork and dedication of the staff at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai.
As he prepares to take up his new role in Moscow, Ambassador Tirmizi said he leaves the UAE with fond memories, a deep appreciation for its people, and confidence in the continued strength of Pakistan-UAE relations.
