Gold rates on Wednesday, September 03, surged by Rs 6000 per tola, hitting an all-time high in Pakistan and global market, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) stated that this price hike follows global trends, where the 24-karat gold rate has also increased and is settling at Rs 376,700.
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 5,144, settling at Rs 322,959.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,540 per ounce, showing a surge of $60 during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.

Meanwhile, 24 tola silver price was also increased by Rs 12, settling at Rs 4315. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver has increased by Rs 10 and is now selling at Rs 3,699.
A day earlier, the Gold rates in Pakistan on September 02 remained stable at Rs 370,700, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJSA).
In the local market, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold was also stable at Rs 317,815.
Internationally, gold is priced at $3,480 per ounce during the same period, according to data from APGJSA.
